I've tutored many friends in college level courses, helping them to write papers on subjects including philosophy, literature, opinion papers on various medical subjects, the college equivalent of a "book report" (reaction or examination papers), as well as refined the writing and delivery process of speeches to be given. I am a competent speaker, and a fantastic writer of both fiction and non-fiction pieces.

Hobbies
I'm a father to three elementary school age daughters, and enjoy teaching people of all ages in my spare time, although I'm not interested in making a career out of public education. I'm logical, patient, and have a way of explaining things to people so they can get a better and more complete understanding of the subject matter. I challenge people I've tutored to use their own voice, and help them to express their thoughts through words and on paper effectively. I will not write papers for people. I will however correct errors, and work with them so they can convey their message in an appropriate manner, oftentimes improving both their understanding of the language and subject matter as well as their grades. My hobbies are diverse, and include but are not limited to; building motorcycles, restoring cars, video games, reading both fiction and non-fiction, fitness (I'm a certified personal trainer and kickboxing instructor), paintball, debate, and many, many other things. Overall, the consensus is that I'm just a rad dude, and a great teacher. ;-)
